Why this house exists

You have outgrown borrowed houses that were never meant for this work.

Most facilitators rent a residential listing, keep their voices low, and hope nobody asks questions. Cameras in the corners. Neighbors on edge. A host who cancels the moment they understand what a sound bath is. This house is the opposite of that. It has been held in daily prayer and ceremony for years, and when you rent it, the whole container is yours.

Held for you

  • Sole use of the entire home and grounds, Friday 10 AM to Sunday 6 PM
  • A dedicated ceremony room, plus living and dining rooms arranged for circle and integration
  • Ceremony mats, floor cushions, sound bowls, a gong, altar space, and a full sound system
  • Full kitchen for group meals, fresh linens, laundry, and a sauna
  • Fire pit and garden, with forest trails and parkland just behind the house
  • A 24 hour steward line, and a host who understands your work instead of fearing it

Not for

  • Parties, bachelor or bachelorette weekends
  • Weddings and receptions
  • Open ticketed events beyond house capacity
  • Any use that treats the sanctuary like a rental instead of a trust

The story

Before this was a venue, it was a vow.

Temple Mother Earth began in October of 2020, in a season when the world had closed its doors and people needed somewhere sacred to open. What started as a circle of prayer grew into a congregation. In the autumn of 2021 the temple found its home: a brick house in Hillcrest with a garden out front and a forest at its back.

Since then, this house has been in ceremony nearly every day of its life. Morning devotion in the bay window. Tea poured in the quiet. Circles of sixteen in the living room. Song, drum, breath, and stillness in the room below. The altar has never once been taken down. That is not staging. It is six years of practice soaked into the walls, and you feel it the moment you cross the threshold.

We open this house to facilitators of earth medicine, breath, sound, and sincere ceremony because we are facilitators too. We know what it costs to carry sacred work into rooms that were never meant to hold it, and what it takes from you to hold space while watching the door. Three weekends a month, this house is yours. Between residencies it is tended, reset, and kept alive, so that every facilitator walks into a room that is ready for them.

That is what the rate buys. Not square footage. A working sanctuary handed to you with the beds made, the bowls out, the fire laid, and a steward on call who wants your work to succeed here.

The living room, ready for circle.

The space

Two levels, prepared and tended between every weekend.

Four bedrooms holding twelve twin beds. Three full baths. An open kitchen in steel, marble, and wood. A lower level ceremony room with twenty in circle, a movement and rest space, and quiet corners for one on one work. The exact address is shared once your weekend is confirmed.

The rhythm of the house

Three residencies a month. Never four.

Residency

Each month the house holds three weekend residencies and no more. One weekend is kept for the deep tending that keeps this house what it is: the reset, the cleaning, the care. That restraint is why the space feels the way it does when you walk in, and why dates go quickly.

Already handled

Every pain point you have carried into a rental, solved before you arrive.

The beds are made

Twelve twin beds with pillows, blankets, and fresh sheets. Towels in every bath. Nobody hauls linens to their own retreat.

The floor is ready

Trifold ceremony mats, yoga mats, bolsters, and floor cushions for a full circle of twenty. Your car stays empty.

The sound is here

Crystal bowls, a gong, drums, and a Bluetooth sound system, tuned to the room they live in.

The fire is laid

An outdoor fire pit with a wood service in two sizes: one evening, or the whole weekend. Ask your steward and it is stacked before you arrive.

The kitchen works

Full group kitchen: cookware, dishes, kettle, coffee and tea station. Cater it or cook it, both just work.

The body rests

A sauna, quiet corners for one on one work, and forest trails behind the house when someone needs the trees.

House agreements

A short list, kept seriously.

Shoes off in the sacred areas of the house.

The altar stays. Add to it freely. Do not move what lives there.

Quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM outdoors. This is a residential street.

Capacity is honest: twenty in ceremony, twelve overnight, declared at booking.

Substance free container. No alcohol, no smoking indoors, no recreational drugs.

Parking is free and one block away. Arrival details come with your confirmation.

The fire pit is yours. Fires live only there, and go fully out.

Leave no trace on the parkland behind the house.
